Welcome to all divers & students

Why should you choose me??

I'm Tim, a PADI Scuba Instructor and Master Scuba Diver Trainer teaching Scuba lessons in Gallatin Tennessee.  I'm an independent instructor. As an independent instructor I don't work for a dive shop and I don't sell dive gear.

Since I don't have any overhead and my expenses are small, I can pass on any savings to my students (which for some of my courses comes out to some pretty big savings). This also means that I concentrate on one thing, your diving education.

You won't find a class calendar on this site either - I don't schedule classes, then expect you to fit the class into your schedule. Instead, I schedule your class to best fit your schedule. That's why most of my classes may only have 1-2 students, or 3-4 students as in the case of a family class.
I can have you in the water within a couple days of your email or phone call.

I currently reside just outside Nashville Tennessee, so I'm available to anybody in the Middle Tennessee or Southern Kentucky area interested in learning to Scuba dive.

All Scuba classes are taught according to PADI standards. I use PADI's "Dive Today" philosophy. This means that you can start your pool sessions prior to any classroom work. The academic portion is all self-study. We get together when you are ready, review the material to make sure you understand everything, then take the quizes and final test.

The pool and open water sessions are all performance based, so you complete each session as you become proficient in the skills. Most students earn their certification after only 2 pool sessions and 4 open water dives in a local quarry. You can be certified in as little as two weeks.
My classes are small, typically 2-4 people, which means you'll receive "private" attention at "public" prices. The only equipment you'll need to get started is a mask, fins & snorkel. I provide everything else. Call or email me and we'll schedule your training.

I'm also a CPR/AED and First Aid Instructor for Emergency First Response. If you need to be CPR/AED or First Aid certified for your job, or, you just want to be prepared for your family then call or email me. All of my CPR, AED & First-Aid courses are taught according to the latest standards as published by AHA & ILCOR.
